Dog Boarding
Above & Beyond Dog Training & Rehabilitation offer a superior dog boarding experience for all breeds of dog no matter size or shape. Nestled in beautiful country acreage at Tarampa, our fully insulated, secure kennels provide your best friend the best alternative to being with you at home. We cater for both long-term and short-term visits and are able to provide accredited NDTF training and/or dog rehabilitation/behavior issue services for your dog while they are boarded with us. All kennels are well ventilated, private, secure indoor/outdoor runs with constant access, individual exercise areas.
Cleanliness is of the utmost importance to us and all areas are meticulously maintained, and dogs are toileted on a regular basis from 6am to 8pm daily. Each of our canine guests gets fed twice daily and exercised regularly throughout the day in large outdoor grass exercise runs with an additional 3 secure outside pens we use in rotation on sunny days. When the weather gets too warm we cool our dog kennels with wall mounted fans, use essential oils burners to help ease nerves during bad storms, and the entire building is insulated to provide the perfect environment year round for your dogs holiday.
HYDROBATHS
We have our own heated hydrobath, and also offer a nail trimming and coat maintenance service.
VACCINATIONS
Every dog must be current with their C5 vaccination (last 12 months) and on worming medication
EXERCISE & PLAYTIME
Your dog will be kept physically active and mentally stimulated during their boarding with us.
DIET & NUTRITION
We believe a dogs diet is paramount to their health, and serve premium food as well as special diets
Your pooch will have their own individual quality trampoline bed and clean washed bedding to sleep on while they listen to music we pipe in softly to help calm and soothe. Of course, the daily healthy doggy treats we hand out don’t hurt either, and if you are missing your mate – you can buy extra treats and toys in our shop for us to give them.
We also offer a heated hydrobath and can trim your dog’s nails at an extra cost. There is no extra charge for dogs that require medication and your pet’s health is monitored very closely. Careful attention is given each day to ensure all dogs are in good physical and mental health, with plenty of affection and fun thrown in free. Special dietary needs can also be catered for.

Live-in Dog Training
Sometimes the best way to get the jump on your dog’s training is to have them stay with us while they learn the fundamental manners and obedience in a structured environment. The training areas are based on real-life situations and interactions that are fully monitored and safe for your dog to learn socialization and discipline in a fun, consistent way. This 21-day program is great for dog owners that are having problems with initial training, are short on time or who are overwhelmed at the task and need some help. Also, a great opportunity to make the most of your dogs holiday boarding time. Each dog is given special attention, affection and plenty of rewards to make the process as enjoyable as possible. Every dog has basic training around non-reactive dogs, in fenced areas to achieve success at sit, stay, come (here), loose leash walking and duration (mat training). July 24, 2016 We can only strongly recommend Cathy and her team! When we started, we had two highly reactive rescue dogs. With her advice, so much has already changed for the better! Now they are obedient, far less reactive, much calmer and they are getting more and more responsive. With the training, I’ve also learned a lot about myself.
